I love turning ideas into something real through design
What started as a hobby turned into a career when I discovered how design can make things both look great and work better. I focus on creating user interfaces that serve a real purpose, making sure they're not just pretty, but actually solve problems. Whether I'm working on a mobile app or a website, my goal is to make something that feels natural and easy to use
I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the small stuff
But I think that's what makes good design great. I show up every day, improve by 1%, and let the work compound. Whether it's getting the spacing right on a component or making sure a handoff spec actually helps the developer build it, I care about the details that most people skip. That consistency is what builds trust with teams and stakeholders over time.
I've also started applying design thinking to how I work, not just what I ship
I use AI to handle the repetitive parts of the design process: scanning design files for token drift, keeping tickets and specs in sync, generating developer handoffs from live data, and drafting status updates from real project context. I design the workflows and the systems that run them, not just the interfaces. It's not about replacing the work. It's about removing the overhead so I can focus on the work that actually needs a designer's judgment.
Companies I have worked with
Hear from what my peers have to say.
Nitin is a talented designer who combined Industrial Design and UX expertise to deliver complex concepts with great design. He built a multimodal experience using technical prototyping tools for an exhibition. I highly recommend Nitin!

Madeleine Cordier
Senior Interaction Designer at BMW
Working with Nitin over the past few years, I have seen him excel as a product designer and grow into leadership. His disruptive approach to design has earned praise from several clients. He manages projects from ideation through prototyping very well and would be a great asset to any design team.

Abhinav Tiwari
Sr. Director of Product Design at Ivanti
Nitin is by nature an explorer — constantly experimenting and trying to create new experiences. These characteristics make him a unique designer. He is a good team player, and I am very interested to see the work he will be involved in going forward.

Dhruv Parmar
Senior Industrial Designer at Havells Electronics
I've worked with Nitin for two years in a design studio on projects for prominent clients. He researched requirements meticulously and delivered fresh concepts that always made it onto the client's wishlist. His engineering background fueled creative solutions. Nitin's enthusiasm and leadership make him an exceptional asset.

Application Engineer at Ingersoll Rand
01
What level of role am I targeting, and what scope do I own?
I am targeting Senior Product/UX/UI Designer roles where I can own ambiguous, cross-functional problems end to end, from problem framing and strategy to shipped experiences and measurable outcomes.
02
What differentiates me from other senior product designers?
I bring a blend of digital product design and industrial design background, so I naturally think in product ecosystems across touchpoints, constraints, behaviors, and system coherence, not just individual screens.
03
How do I define success for design work?
I define success through user and business outcomes such as activation, conversion, retention, task completion, and reduced support load, then connect design decisions to those metrics from discovery through iteration.
04
Can I lead without formal people management?
Yes. I lead through influence by aligning product, engineering, and stakeholders around clear problem framing, decision rationale, and execution plans, while mentoring designers through critique and systems thinking.
05
How do I work on AI products today?
I am actively learning and building in the AI application layer. I design AI experiences with a human-centered approach focused on clarity, trust, transparency, and safe fallback states. I care about helping people make better decisions, not just adding AI features.
06
How am I using AI in my own workflow?
I am automating large parts of my workflow by creating agents, workflows, and reusable frameworks. This helps me move faster on research, synthesis, prototyping, and execution while keeping quality and intent high.
07
What tools do I use most?
Figma is my primary design tool. I also work across prototyping and implementation environments when needed, but my core design system and product design workflows are centered in Figma.
